"Our stories" - book by Katya

How strong a young woman can be - Katya, like many other children and young people, had to flee her home country because of the Russian war.

Now she is using her voice and, together with six other young people, has written down her traumatic experiences of flight in a book, which has been published in collaboration with Büchner Verlag.

We are incredibly proud of Katya - not only because she shows so much courage and tells her story publicly, but also because as part of the "lift family" in the contact team, she also helps and encourages other people.
